Join the Beta Test - Startup Financial Plan AI
A focused three-week test of the four free apps in early 2027 followed by a break while we finalize the paid module (steps 5 through 10). Then a one-week test with you in mid 2027 with the paid module and delivery of your financial plan at no cost.
WHO
- Who is asking: Matt Evans, retired financial professional and SCORE mentor, who built Startup Financial Plan AI after working with more than 500 small business owners.
- Who should take part: business owners and founders in the United States - pre-revenue startups (estimates are fine) or existing businesses.
WHAT
- You use the four free steps of the software before the public does, and tell us what works and what does not. No accounting background needed. You are not being graded.
- You also follow up and use the paid module to create your financial plan.
WHEN
- Three weeks, at your own pace, starting in early 2027 once the software has passed its independent technical review. We email you a start date.
- About 4 to 8 hours in total, spread over the three weeks.
- Follow up in mid year 2027 for two weeks to evaluate and provide feedback on the paid module.
WHERE
- Online, in your web browser, at www.startupfinancialplan.ai.
- Two short email surveys (under 5 minutes each) and one 45-60 minute video call.
- Your financial figures stay on your own computer, not on our servers.
WHY
- Free, early access to the free module.
- Four reports for your own business: Startup Cost Estimate, Funding Plan, Sales Forecast and Cost Model.
- A free 3-Year Financial Plan (PDF and Excel) when the paid module is released, earned by completing both surveys and the closing interview.
- A direct line to the founder, and a real say in how the tool works.
HOW
- You get in by email invitation. Click the link in your invite and sign in with that exact email address - nothing to download or install; the app runs entirely in your browser (Chrome or Edge recommended).
- Use the same browser and device for the whole test. Your entries are saved in that browser's own storage, so switching devices mid-test (or clearing browser data) can make your saved figures disappear.
